International packaging and paper group Mondi has expanded its product offering with the launch of a new high-speed inkjet portfolio 2.0.
The new inkjet portfolio 2.0 includes a larger color gamut, increased opacity, and new grammages of 60, 70 and 230g/m2.
Large color gamut of the machine offers improved accuracy for logos or reproduction of images in critical color areas.
Mondi uncoated fine paper marketing and sales director Johannes Klumpp said the company identified current short-comings of the high-speed inkjet technology, such as insufficient red color gamut or the lack of competitiveness against certain offset print jobs.
"By perfecting our inkjet production process we are now able to offer optimized Mondi high-speed inkjet paper grades," Klumpp added.
