According to France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies, in October this year, the turnover in France's manufacturing industry increased 0.9 percent month on month, following the 2.7% month on month decrease recorded in September.
Exports of France's manufacturing sector increased by 3.4% month on month in October, after the 4.3% decrease registered in September compared to August.
In October of the current year, turnover in French manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products rose by 3.9%, while the turnover in French metal and metal product manufacturing increased by 1.6%, both compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, an 8.1% month-on-month decrease was recorded in the turnover in the automobile industry. However, the turnover in the country's manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers rose 1.5% month on month. In October, the turnover in the French construction industry increased by 2.6% compared to the previous month.
