Compac, a member of the TOMRA Group, has partnered with Xact, a UK-based provider of specialist packaging and marking equipment for the fresh produce industry.
The partnership will combine Compac’s Spectrim grading technology with Xact’s advanced solutions and offerings that include Giro’s fresh produce packaging equipment.
The firms will provide integrated fruit sorting and packaging solutions for the retail market customers to deliver quality and consistent fresh produce products.
According to Compac, the partnership allows customers to create safe and quality products that have high consumer demand.
Compac offers integrated post-harvest solutions and services, including advanced grading technology, to the fresh produce industry.
The company has centers of excellence, regional offices and manufacturing locations within the US, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and Australasia.
Xact offers specialist packaging and marking equipment for the fresh produce industry. Its product solutions include net packaging, checkweighers and metal detectors, inkjet marking and labelling systems.
