Taiwan's Iron and Steel Exports Was up 3.1 Percent to $4.46 Billion in Jan-Mar

In March this year, the value of Taiwan's iron and steel exports decreased by 0.9 percent year on year and increased by 28.6 percent compared to February to $1.63 billion, according to the preliminary statistics issued by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance. In the same month, the country's iron and steel import value totaled $1.01 billion, down 10.1 percent year on year and increasing by 21.15 percent month on month.

In the first three months of this year, the value of Taiwan's iron and steel exports was up 3.1 percent to $4.46 billion, while the value of the country's imports of iron and steel totaled $2.67 billion, down 13.3 percent, both on year-on year basis.
