Awarded for the Best Home Technology Product from the National Association of Home Builders and packed with patent-pending proprietary technology, trutankless™ is engineered to outperform and outlast both its tank and tankless predecessors in energy efficiency, output, and durability. Not only does it provide endless hot water on demand for a whole household, it also integrates with home automation systems and has its own app (iOS/AOS), which allows homeowners to control water temperature to within one degree, obtain service notifications, and monitor usage from their mobile devices. Because hot water is such an intimate and essential part of daily life, this is a highly relevant new "Internet of Things" player in the arena of smart home tech.
"It's incredibly gratifying to receive this award from NAHB. We've invested a tremendous amount of effort to build a tankless water heating technology that is highly versatile and meets the demands of today's market, both in terms of performance and technology. To be embraced with such enthusiasm by builders, distributors, industry peers—as well as press—at our debut here at the International Builders Show has been so rewarding," said Derrick Mains, COO of trutankless™, a division of Bollente Companies.
Sponsored by National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Best Home Technology Product award at IBS is intended to encourage companies to bring forward-thinking products to market and to recognize those innovators who exemplify ingenuity and relevance, producing products that help builders build and sell homes.
The International Builders Show (IBS) is produced by NAHB and is the largest annual light construction show in the world—featuring more than 1,100 exhibitors and attracting 75,000 attendees including high level decision makers from some of the largest home builders in the world as well as plumbing and HVAC professionals from top outfits in major markets. This year, for the first time ever, the show was co-located with the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).
Notably, trutankless™ COO Derrick Mains was selected from among more than 1,100 exhibitors to give one of three presentations offered to industry professionals for Continuing Education Credits during the show. His presentation, entitled "If These Walls Could Talk", addressed the emergence of smart home appliances and their capacity to maximize efficiency, reduce cost and increase customer retention and satisfaction.
