OKI Data Americas has introduced a new direct thermal receipt printer, the RT322SK, to the company's growing portfolio of Label and Point-Of-Sale (POS) products.
According to the company, the RT322SK has been certified by MAXStick to support its range of liner-free, repositionable thermal labels.
The new printer joins the company's RT322 Series and offers features and functionality including 2D barcode printing, 'Drop-In & Print' paper loading, and 203 dpi output.
The printing device is said to provide a solution for on-demand printing of food labels in quick service cafés and restaurants. It has been designed for use in various other applications.
The applications include reserve hold labels, transfer labels, book sale price tags, shipping and receiving, logistic and asset tracking, drive-through services and self-service delis, warehouse management, retail and compliance labeling.
OKI Data Americas Specialty Products Division director Mark Hernandez said the printer can be integrated into any work environment in need of fast label printing.
"As the POS printer market continues to grow, OKI will continue to develop and customize innovative printing solutions to meet our customers' evolving needs," Hernandez said.
