Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker will launch its latest wonderfully complicated flavor combination, 72% Cacao Dark Chocolate with Raspberries and Sea Salted Almonds at the Specialty Food Association’s Summer Fancy Food Show in New York June 28-30.
The new bar joins the existing lineup of nine other flavors.
As with all Scharffen Berger chocolate, the new artisanal chocolate bar contains 100 percent cacao from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. A fruit and nut bar to be enjoyed slowly, Raspberry and Almond combines smooth, mellow dark chocolate with tart red raspberries and the satisfying crunch of lightly salted, chopped almonds.

The new 72% Cacao Dark Chocolate with Raspberries and Sea Salted Almonds will be available as a 3-ounce and 1-ounce bar. In addition, three other wonderfully complicated chocolate bars will join the ranks of the 1-ounce Scharffen Berger chocolate bars, which provide chocolate lovers with the perfect single-serve treat:
Scharffen Berger 72% Cacao Dark Chocolate with Sea Salted Pistachios combines the unique nutty taste of roasted, chopped pistachios and the silky smooth intensity of dark chocolate with the subtle tang of sea salt.
Scharffen Berger 72% Cacao Milk Chocolate with Toasted Coconut & Macadamia blends the intense notes of caramel and molasses in luscious milk chocolate with toasted coconut and chopped macadamia nuts.
Scharffen Berger 41% Cacao Milk Chocolate with Sea Salted Almonds complements the rich, creamy milk chocolate with chopped, roasted almonds and a sprinkling of sea salt.
The new Scharffen Berger Raspberry and Almond 3-ounce chocolate bar will be available beginning late summer 2015 at the suggested retail price of $4.95, and the full line of 1-ounce bars is currently available for the suggested retail price of $2.50.
