Labels producer in the UK, Abbey Labels has purchased the new Xeikon 3300 machine which is supported by an AB Graphics Digicon 2 for post printing production.
The narrow-web label press of the Xeikon 3000 Series, the Xeikon 3300 is suitable for numbering, barcoding and personalization, in addition to prime label applications.
The press runs at a speed of 19.2 m/min and has the capacity to handle production volumes of up to 380m2/hour.
According to Xeikon, the machine uses the Pericles screening library. The screen ruling can be adjusted for every image element, resulting in better images.
Xeikon designs, develops and delivers web-fed digital color presses for labels and packaging applications, document printing, as well as commercial printing.
