UK-based luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will recall about 337 vehicles in China, over issues related to braking and steering, according to the China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The recall will affect 190 units of 2012 Evoque and Freelander vehicles produced on 11 June 2012, due to issues related to substandard fixings in the vehicles, including rear brake calipers, which may lead to brakes failure and unexpected tire deflation.
The recall includes 147 units of 2012 and 2013 Evoque models manufactured between 20 October and 18 September 2012 which said to have faulty steering box that posed security risks.
Recently, JLR recalled 70 units of Range Rover Evoque luxury crossovers due to improper installation of bolts of the rear brake calipers.
