Leycol Printers Joins Resilience Capital Portfolio Firm DG3

Diversified Global Graphics Group (DG3), a portfolio company of Resilience Capital Partners, has acquired London-based Leycol Printers Limited, a provider of high-end offset and lithographic printing service for the financial and commercial print market.

The main operation facility of Leycol Printers in Bromley by Bow, East London, is located close to the operation hub of DG3, that is operated by 149 employees.

The takeover of Leycol Printers for an undisclosed sum marks the fifteenth transaction and ninth acquisition by Resilience Capital Partners, which has assets worth $625m.

The acquisition will receive funds from the Resilience Fund IV, which has $350m investable capital at the end of October 2015.

In June 2016, DG3 was acquired by Ohio-based private equity firm Cleveland. With the specific assets acquired from the labeling firm National Label in April 2017, Resilience set up Lux Global Label Company.

Resilience Capital Partners co-CEO Bassem Mansour said: “Like DG3, Leycol Printers is a highly regarded digital and printing partner to some of the world’s most admired companies. With this merger, the company is well positioned to take advantage of the huge opportunity, specifically in the rapidly growing digital solutions market.”

Resilience Capital Partners co-CEO Steven Rosen said: “The complementary strengths that DG3 and Leycol Printers bring to their new relationship will increase their competitiveness, diversify their markets and strategically position them as digital printing processes become an increasingly important part of the landscape.”

Leycol Printers managing director Gary Wilson said: “The combined business will position DG3 as one of the UK’s largest financial, commercial and fine art printing companies. Together, as a one-stop shop offering digital print, mailing and cross-media capabilities, we will be able to continue meeting our clients’ existing requirements and, at the same time, offer them an extensive range of new digital products and services.”
