Transparent packaging provider Stager has acquired Inovac, a thermoforming company in Czech Republic, for an undisclosed amount.
With the addition of Inovac, Stager expands its service and product range, as well as bolstering its presence in the Eastern and Western European market.
Based in Rokycany, Inovac develops and manufactures vacuum-formed packaging solutions from plastics intended for the automotive, electro-technical and consumer industries.
It also produces component holders and transport trays for well-known national and international automotive suppliers.
Stager Inovac Packaging will relocate its office to a modern production facility in Pilsen.
This allows an expansion of the existing business activities as well as offering other packaging solutions of the Stager Group mainly for Eastern Europe with increased customer proximity, Stager said.
Additionally, Stager launched Hybrid Tube, which is made out of different packaging materials like cardboard, plastic and metals.
