American Made Dorm has created a brand new line of dorm bundles for college and boarding school students for 2013.
These high-quality, made in USA bundles feature a comforter, sham, accent pillow, sheets, towels, mattress pad and topper, pillows and a message board, all conveniently packed and shipped. Students can select to ship their bundle directly to school, saving time and money.
The latest addition is the "Oxford Cloth Line", using the same fabric that is used in making traditional button-down shirts.
This is a classic line featuring traditional oxford blue or traditional pin stripe charcoal gray bedding. American Made Dorm contacted the manufacturer of the oxford cloth, located in South Carolina, with the idea of using the fabric to create the Oxford Cloth Bedding Line.
Both companies are pleased with the outcome. The key element, according to founder Caroline Eager, is "the importance of local manufacturing. Not only are we supporting our economy, we have control over quality and workmanship, and the end product is far above what you'll get at the big box stores".
American Made Dorm recently made the move to expand its operations by hiring PBD Worldwide as its fulfillment center in Atlanta. The addition of PDB, says Caroline Eager, "takes our company to a new level, allowing fulfillment in 24 to 48 hours and combining marketing, packaging, shipping and inventory in one location".
American Made Dorm is a division of American Made Dorm & Home. The company offers custom home and dorm bedding available online. The company manufactures comforters, accent pillows, valances and curtains made in the USA. They also carry American made towels and rugs.
The company was founded in 2011 to create a convenient way for college and boarding school students to buy quality American made dorm bedding. Due to customer demand, American Made Dorm expanded to provide custom home bedding under American Made Dorm & Home.
The baby bedding division, Liz and Roo, was launched in December 2012. The company is a women-owned small business, SWaM certified, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, with manufacturing in the Carolinas.
