The Russian wood-based panels manufacturer Uvadrev-Holding ordered a complete particleboard line from Siempelkamp. With this additional line, Uvadrev will more than double production capacity at its Uva site to. The new line is to produce boards with a width of 1,830 mm and lengths of 2,440-2,750 mm. The order that was placed with Siempelkamp covers all important line components, from the wood yard through to the sanding line. Line planning and engineering will be handled by the Belgian Siempelkamp subsidiary Sicoplan. According to Siempelkamp, Uvadrev already started preparatory building work for the particleboard plant at the end of December 2012. Line assembly is to begin in the autumn of 2013 and commissioning is scheduled for the second quarter of 2014.
