Beverage can makers Rexam has partnered with the Alcon group to develop a range of can designs, featuring Spider-Man.
This collaboration is a continuation of the development of a licensed product by Marvel and MIO milkshake producer.
The partnership between the two companies will also see the launch of a range of new flavors. MIO milkshakes with orange and passion fruit flavors will be available in the new Spider-Man cans.
Speaking about the ongoing project MIO marketing director Nikita Volkov said, "We knew we could rely on Rexam's professional approach to create a unique package for the product. We are thrilled with the new MARVEL can designs and hope that our younger target audience will love them."
The newly-designed cans measure 33cl and are being produced by Rexam's Vsevolozhsk plant in Russia. The products are currently available in traditional retail outlets and local networks in Russia and will soon be made available in federal networks.
Headquartered in London, Rexam operates close to 55 manufacturing sites in 20 countries across the world. The company claims that it gets 30% of its sales from faster growing and emerging markets.
The company employs close to 8,000 people in Europe, North America, South America and in the Africa, Middle East and Asia region.
Rexam produces around 60 billion cans every year, the vast majority of which are in aluminium. It produces cans in about 27 different shapes and sizes, ranging from standard 33cl (12oz) cans, through 150 ml and slim and sleek versions to large one litre cans and innovative aluminium bottles.
