The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling Healthy Times brand Oatmeal Cereal for Baby as the product may contain gluten.
The product being recalled was sold in 170g (6oz.) packs bearing UPC 0 48685 71786 8 and bears a use by date code of 15 April 2013.
CFIA said that the product was distributed in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of product being recalled.
CFIA is associating with Canadian importers, distributors, and retailers to recall the affected product from the marketplace.
The agency has advised consumers intolerant to gluten not to consume the product being recalled as it may result in serious or life threatening reaction.
