Electrical Business has learned that the inaugural All-Energy Canada Exhibition & Conference, originally scheduled for October 2-3, has been rescheduled “to accommodate more organizations’ schedules”.
The All-Energy Canada Exhibition & Conference is now taking place April 9-10, 2014, at Toronto, Ont.’s Exhibition Place. All-Energy Canada aims to be the newest global meeting place for the renewable energy sector. The Toronto event is modelled on the All-Energy parent show held in Aberdeen, Scotland, which attracts 8300 participants and nearly 600 exhibiting companies.
“Canada is becoming a powerhouse in the renewable energy sector. I predict All-Energy exhibitors and attendees will be impressed by the maturity, breadth and depth of the Canadian renewable sector,” noted John Gorman, president of the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA).
All-Energy Canada aims to attract developers; engineers; contractors; architects; farmers and landowners; community power proponents; government representatives; building owners; facility managers and construction industry representatives. It will operate on a six-track format covering: investment and finance; energy efficiency; integrated systems; transportation; and labour and skills.
“OSEA is excited to have helped attract All-Energy to Canada,” said Kris Stevens, executive director of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association. “It is the right time to convene a show of this stature in Canada. Our members are ready to show the world the contribution Ontario and Canada is making to advance renewable energy.”
