Daimler to Introduce New Range of Euro VI-Compliant Buses

Mercedes-Benz and Daimler‘s other bus division Setra are planning to introduce new range of Euro VI-compliant buses at the ongoing International Bus and Coach Trade Fair (FIAA) in Madrid.

The buses are expected to feature Power Euro VI engine technologies that are designed to reduce emission and fuel consumption.

In the touring coach segment, Daimler will be launching Tourismo K, the Tourismo M/2, the Travego L, Integro M.

In urban bus segment, the company will introduce Citaro K, Sprinter City 65 minibus, and Mercedes-Benz Citaro Euro VI.

The buses will be equipped with Predictive Powertrain Control system (PPC)and feature Active Brake Assist 3, which capable of applying emergency braking if the bus comes across any obstacle on the road.

The Tourismo K, a new midibus from Mercedes-Benz is expected to be fitted with Advanced Emergency Braking System AEBS starting next spring, along with Lane Assistant system, to help keep the bus on the right track.
