It’s reported that China’s major stainless producers Baosteel Stainless announced to remain its domestic prices for austenitic stainless steel coils unchanged for August due to more positive market outlook.
After announcement, the prices for 304 grade hot rolled coils (HRC) are at RMB14,500/ton; those for 304 grade cold rolled coils (CRC) with thickness of 2mm are at RMB15,500/ton.
Also, it remained the domestic prices for 430 grade CRC with thickness of 2mm at RMB9,600/ton.
Meanwhile, the company’s crude steel output is expected to remain flat at 100,000 tons in July.
