The collection offers a total of 24 styles and some 120 variations in a wide array of colours. Key styles in Spring/Summer 2014 are chinos. Classic styles like the cigarette pants or Marlene trousers contrast with sporty variations like skinny, boyfriend or jogging styles. Thomas Rath's characteristic riding pants are indispensable – presented in both a yearround fabric and a particularly lightweight one.
Colours and Patterns
Thomas Rath Trousers toy with dewy colours like graphite, stone, nude, rosé and cipria. Alongside this, the collection picks up on a maritime theme with the typical porcelain designs of the city of Delft and the classic colours white, red, navy and royal blue. Cupcake colours inject a touch of cheerful colour. Prints primarily feature in floral or graphic form as photo prints or Paisleys.

Thomas Rath has made chinos his personal fashion item for Summer 2014. Very much in line with the idea of San Remo meets L.A. Thomas Rath presents chinos with a sprayed, printed, tumbled, hammered and stonewashed finish. At times rocky and sporty with stud details and at others with a military touch with emblem patches. Denim features with used and destroyed effects or with Rath's typical polka dots.

Business
The business segment of the collection combines flattering materials with a casually elegant look. The cigarette pant form dominates, whether as a fine jacquard in a micro design, with a graphic print or in cool wool. Contrast stitching or select zipper elements bear witness to the loving attention to detail. The trousers really reveal their charm on the inside as this is where different tie patterns combine into colourful inner waistbands.

High Fashion
The highlight piece, a camouflage sequined look in a jogging style, totally redefines glam rock as the fine materials are stone washed very much in a denim finish. Also offering contrasts is a spiky studded dinner suit stripe on an elegant two-colour jacquard. The look is utterly innovative with the entire finished pair of trousers being overprinted with a sea of flowers.
