Turkey imported 25,428 tons of seamless steel pipes in last November, jumping by 68.3% from a month ago, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In last November, the country’s import revenues generated by seamless steel pipes were at US$40.5 million, rising by 90.6% from a month ago and soaring by 80.2% year on year.
China was the largest exporter of seamless steel pipes to Turkey in last November with 14,673 tons, soaring by 61% from a month earlier and increasing by 75.7% year on year. In the first 11 months of 2012, Turkey’s imports of seamless steel pipes amounted to 191,493 tons, falling by 4.5% year on year.
