Flexible packaging firm ProAmpac will showcase its advanced packaging solutions at this year’s Interpack event in Germany.
The event will take place from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf.
ProAmpac will exhibit its EZY Pro10, which is a stand-up pouch with a spout designed to fit in the consumer’s hand.
The pouch, which is pre-filled with 30g of protein powder, has to be filled with 230ml of water and shake before consuming.
ProAmpac will also showcase E-Z SnackPak, a new type of packaging format developed for the single-serve snack food market.
Produced by using less packaging material, the tetrahedron shaped pouch is an easy-opening pouch that can protect effectively protect the products.
In addition, the company will present new PRO-DURA premium packaging solution for the pet food market.
ProAmpac has developed PRO-DURA packaging to solve common multi-wall bag challenges, including bag breakage, product spillage and wrinkled appearance. It can be produced on existing multi-walled bag machinery.

In April, ProAmpac acquired US-based Trinity Packaging, which offers flexible packaging solutions to the lawn and garden, food and specialty industrial markets.
ProAmpac provides a range of products and capabilities, including wide web extrusion coating and laminating of film, foil, paperboard and nonwovens, metallizing, pouching, bag converting and rotogravure and flexographic printing.
With around 3,000 employees, the company operates 22 manufacturing centers in North America, Europe and Asia.
