The citizens, often go to the farm product markets, find that the prices of vegetables and meat sharply increase recently. Yesterday, Chengdu investigation team of State Statistics Bureau reported that the prices of vegetables grew due to the recent rain and fog weather, and the price of meat rose because of the approaching Spring Festival.
The statistics shows that Chengdu’s price of pork increased from RMB 24/kg late December to RMB 30/kg now, with a rise of 25%. The price maintain stable in the middle of January. As can be seen from the price situation now, the prices of the foods will possibly be the fastigium of increasing.
