In the first 10 months of the current year, Ukraine registered a one percent increase in its finished steel product output to 24.398 million mt, a one percent increase in its crude steel output to 27.466 million mt, and a two percent rise in its pig iron production to 24.297 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.
In October alone, Ukraine produced? 2.619 million mt of crude steel, down 2.6 percent month on month.
