The Analysis of 2015 Special-Purpose Trucks Exporting Market

The exporting volume of special-purpose trucks was 17,116 sets in 2015, according to the statistics. The increasing scale was down compared with the same period of last year. The exporting volume of special-purpose trucks increased by 1.28% in 2014, while that decreased by 2.47% in 2015. The foreign exchange earning was 1.668 billion US dollars. The trend was up compared with the same period of last year. The foreign exchange earning fell by 6.80% last year in 2014, while that increased by 4.13% in 2015.

The Analysis of Exporting Scale and Formation of Special-purpose Trucks

Regarding the exporting truck mode, concrete mixer truck and crane truck were still the main exporting truck modes among the special-purpose trucks in 2015. The exporting volume of those two truck modes took up 57.96% in the total exporting volume of special-purpose trucks. Both of the exporting volume and exporting interests of crane truck were decreased compared with the same period of last year though the exporting volume of crane trucks exceeded 1,000 sets. Both of the exporting volume and exporting interests were increased compared with the same period of last year except for five truck modes including crane truck, medical car, oil truck, telecommunication truck and snow sweeping truck. The increasing rate of exporting volume and exporting interests of special vehicle for aircraft, which was 271.43% and 442.06% respectively, were the most striking ones compared with the other truck modes.

The trend of exporting volume of special-purpose trucks showed “high-low-high-low” , and the exporting volume was fluctuated greatly in 2015 in China. The increasing rate of exporting of special-purpose trucks in the first two months fluctuated at great scale with decrease of 6.34% in January and growth of 132.99% in February in 2015. The exporting peak was centralized at January in 2014 while the first-and-medium ten days of February in 2015 for the effect of Spring Festival. Thus the small exporting base number in February, 2014 pushed the exporting increasing rate of 2015 to high. The exporting volume, approaching or reaching 1,706 sets, in April, 2015 reached the peak after the transition of March,2015. The increasing rate of exporting volume was slowing down during May and June, while the exporting volume had been rising continuously since July though the rising rate was not big. And it rose to the second peak ,reaching 1,649 sets, in September. After that, the market began to became sluggish again from October. Then the demand became bigger in December, which led to a little increasing in sales volume which reached 1,637 sets.

The special-purpose trucks in China were mainly exported to Asian and African countries with the exporting volume of over 10,000 sets in 2015. After which were Africa and Latin America, which ranked the second and the third place respectively. While the exporting volume in North America was still the least with less than 500 sets in 2015. Among which the exporting volume and exporting exchange earning to Asian countries were 10,485 sets and 0.954 billion US dollars respectively, increased by 9.12% and 1.87% compared with the same period of last year respectively. The exporting volume and exporting exchange earning to African countries were 3,900 sets and 0.369 billion US dollars respectively, increased by 33.26% and 78.98% compared with the same period of last year respectively. The exporting volume and exporting exchange earning to countries in Latin America were 2,523 sets and 0.283 billion US dollars respectively, decreased by 11.57% and 73.08% compared with the same period of last year respectively.

Vietnam became the fist exporting market of Chinese special-purpose trucks in 2015. The exporting volume reached 2,456 sets, which increased by 191.34% compared with the same period of last year. And the exporting exchange earning reached 0.235 billion US dollars, which increased by 296.19% compared with the same period of last year. Both the exporting volume and exporting interests were increased at large scale. After that were Venezuela and Philippines. Among which the exporting volume to Venezuela reached 1,493 sets, which increased by 511.89% compared with the same period of last year; the exporting exchange earning reached 0.201 billion US dollars, which increased by 36.15% compared with the same period of last year. And the exporting volume to Philippines reached 1,357 sets, which increased by 113.7% compared with the same period of last year; the exporting exchange earning reached 8.2259 million US dollars, which increased by 108.61% compared with the same period of last year. The accumulated exporting volume and exporting interests of those three countries took up 30.01% and 31.02% respectively in the total exporting volume. Importantly, the exporting volume or exporting interests of Burma, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Algeria were decreased at different scale. Among which, the exporting volume and exporting interests of Algeria were decreased apparently with the decreasing rate of over 50%.

Regarding exporting departure place, 28 provinces exported special-purpose trucks in total in China in 2015. The provinces of which the exporting volume ranking the top five were still Hunan Province, Shandong Province, Hubei Province, Jiangsu Province and Beijing City. The exporting volume of those five provinces took up 67.11% and the exporting exchange earning took up 74.64%.
