Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK has exhibited its new Epsilon machine at this year’s PPMA show in Birmingham, UK.
Epsilon is a new mid-range multihead weighing machine specifically developed for the cost-effective weighing and packaging of loose products.
The new automatic weighing machine aggregates features of the Sigma series and Omega series, helping to increase the weighing options.
Yamato’s new machine can handle a wide range of products, as well as withstand up to 150kg load.
Epsilon’s modular actuator unit integrates the Yamato strain gauge load cell and stepper motor drive system.
Yamato has also exhibited its total weighing and checking solutions, which can be used in all parts of the packaging process.
The firm’s solution can be used in the food processing of different products, including salads and fresh produce, IQF and frozen food, snacks, nuts and confectionery.
At the event, multiple companies have showcased various product solutions for bakery and snack food manufacturers, pet food makers, drinks companies and research and technology organisations.
Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK commercial operations manager Andrea Spencer said: “The quality and range of visitors to PPMA makes this the ideal show for us. It was successful and we engaged with a range of existing customers and new prospects, which you wouldn’t find anywhere else.
“As well as showing on own stand, we also exhibited our multihead weighing technology in partnership with other companies that have synergies with Yamato.”
