According to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, the country’s exports of stainless s steel products totaled 86,285 tons in May, falling by 3.7% from a month ago.
The country’s export prices of stainless steel products averaged at US$3,782/ton, decreasing by 4% from April.
Besides, the export revenues generated by stainless steel products amounted to US$326,331 million in May.
In May, Japan’s exports of stainless steel products made to China totaled 16,910 tons, down by 1.1%; those to Taiwan were at 16,277 tons, jumping by 43.3% and those to Korea were at 13,372 tons, decreasing by 18.3%, all compared to the figures in a month ago.
