Australian miner BHP Billiton has announced that work has halted at its IndoMet coal project located in Indonesia after a contract worker was fatally injured in the construction area on Monday, January 21.
The IndoMet coal project which holds metallurgical and energy coal deposits in the Kalimantan region of Indonesia is 75 percent owned by BHP Billiton, while the remaining 25 percent belongs to Indonesia's PT Adaro Energy.
