South Korean company auto parts maker SL Tennessee has expanded its operations by leasing a fifth facility at the Clinton's Eagle Bend Industrial Park in Anderson County in the US.
The company has leased a 65,000ft2 building owned by the Hollingsworth Companies of Clinton, which will be used for warehousing and distribution.
Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank said: "I simply couldn't be happier that SL Tennessee has run out of space and needs room to grow."
"I know that Anderson County could not possibly receive a greater compliment than the confidence SL Tennessee has shown by choosing to stay and grow in our county," Terry added.
With the expansion, the company has about 565,000ft2 of buildings in Clinton.
Started in Clinton in 2001, the company makes gear shifters, parking brakes and lighting products for vehicles.
The company has announced about $50m in expansions since 2010, including a 175,000ft2 complex acquired in 2011 with $14m for production of gear shifters and lighting products for General Motors vehicles.
