Italian company Cedral Tassoni has selected ‘Adhesleeve’ technology from PE labellers to apply a label on its product, the 18cl Citronade bottle launched in the US.
According to the labeling machines designer and producer, the new wrap-around label is made with a transparent heat shrinkable film to keep the tactile feeling of the citron skin, while improving the visibility of the citron color.
To recall the cedar fruit, the bottle will keep its corrugated surface, even in the label application area and will be improvised by the 'Tassoni Soda' logo in relief.
The water-based pre-glued adhesive label will be oriented according to the logo by a new electronic system. The labels are said to make the container 100% eco-friendly and recyclable.
According to PE Labellers, the Cedral Tassoni soda glass bottle was initially launched in Italy.
