Instruments Catalog Is Available in Traditional Print Format

Catalog Features New Tools, Instruments and Line Expansions New York, NY (March 13, 2014) – The General Tools & Instruments 2014 full-line tools and instruments catalog is now available in traditional print format, digital format, or via the company website.

Featuring more than 1,300 items, the 292-page, full-color glossy catalog presents General’s complete product line, including both existing and new products in categories including, but not limited to, Woodworking, Specialty Tools, Video Inspection, and Electrical. 

The two sections of the catalog—one for tools and the other for instruments—are organized by product category and formatted to facilitate product look-up, according to the company. The 2014 catalog introduced several new products and line expansions, most notably the company’s expanded lines of electrical instruments and video inspection systems.

The electrical line includes new clamp meters, multimeters, electrical testers and multi-component kits. Product features and specifications are available, along with comparison charts to help choose the appropriate clamp meters or multimeters for particular applications.

New for 2014

A new product in the video inspection line is the PalmScope (DCS950), a pocket-sized video inspection system that simplifies maintenance and inspection applications, such as detecting leaks and cracks, reading hidden serial and model numbers, and inspecting corrosion and deposit buildup, according to the company.

Other new products introduced in the 2014 catalog include the Crown King (880) crown molding jig, the lighted tools line, and other tools and kits used by contractors, professionals, technicians, DIYers and hobbyists,
