Edgar Langen, a lighting expert with extensive experience in LED Lighting and associated electronics, has been appointed General Manager of Lumotech, part of the Nualight Group.
He will be responsible for all lighting electronics at the organisation which specializes in LED drivers, LED boards, PIR detectors and other lighting controls.
Edgar Langen brings a strong track-record of LED Lighting experience to Lumotech. Having worked with Philips Consumer Electronics, Philips Digital Networks and Philips Software, he joined Philips Semiconductors as General Manager of Business Line Solid State Lighting. Edgar Langen was part of the spin-out into NXP Semiconductors where he assumed business responsibility for all Lighting products, including drivers for Linear fluorescent, compact fluorescent, HID and LED light sources. Since 2009, he has had a global responsibility role with Future Electronics as Director of Future Lighting Solutions. Edgar Langen is Dutch and has an M.Sc. in electronics.
