German offset printing presses manufacturer Heidelberger Druckmaschinen is set to unveil three new postpress machines for the packaging industry.
The firm will exhibit new Promatrix 106 FC die cutter with hot-foil embossing, Promatrix 106 CSB die cutter with inline blanking and Diana Easy 115 folder at the Print Media Center Packaging event in Wiesloch-Walldorf site.
At the event, the firm will also showcase prepress, press, postpress and service solutions, in addition to postpress portfolio.
Part of the Promatrix series, the new industrial Promatrix 106 CSB will enable to avoid the need for costly and wasteful hand-stripping of carton blanks, as well as allows customers to increase productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
With automatic foil control and 20 individually controlled heating zones, Promatrix 106 FC holds capacity to foil in the transverse direction, helping to enhance the visual impact of print.
With four and six-corner box capacity, the Diana Easy 115 folder gluer is a new machine that features functions from the top-of-the-range Diana X and offers a throughput up to 350 m/min.
The new machine, which can replace older machines to develop new products, has been designed by the MK Masterwork team in Germany and built in Nove Mesto.
Two years back, Heidelberg and MK Masterwork entered into an agreement to develop and supply postpress machines for customers in the packaging industry.
Heidelberger provides products and services f or the customers in the printing industry. It portfolio ranges from prepress to postpress solutions for use in commercial and packaging printing applications.
