Fexible packaging solutions provider Comexi has signed an agreement with Russian supplier Polyprint to strengthen its position in the country.
As part of the deal, Polyprint has purchased a Comexi F2MC flexographic press for installation at its facilities in Krasnodar, in the South of the country.
Designed to meet the printing needs of medium and long runs in the flexible packaging field, the Comexi F2MC press offers ergonomic and accessibility advances developed in F4 and F2 presses for the retail and wholesale channel.
Polyprint expects the new press to boost its print capacity and capabilities.
Comexi CEO Jeroen van der Meer said: “The agreement means to expand Comexi’s market share in the Russian market and to offer our innovative solutions for new flexible packaging suppliers.”
Capable of allowing print width from 870mm to 1270mm, in 8 and 10 colors and maximum repeats of 800mm, the Comexi F2MC features the advanced electronic systems to provide best quality print even at high speeds.
It can also print on different substrates from plastic film to paper or laminated films.
Comexi said it has sold four of its machines in the Krasnodar area in last year.
Earlier in March, the Comexi F2MB flexographic press was installed in Rosgrand.
As part of the deal with Kubrotopack signed in June, Comexi also installed a 10 color Comexi F2MC flexographic press and a Comexi Dual laminator.
