China Baoan Group Co., Ltd. (SHSE:000009) announced yesterday that its subsidiary BTR New Energy Materials Inc. (BTR) has been certificated to invent spherical graphene.
This proves a breakthrough in the field of spherical graphene. Baoan Group is to resume stock trading today.
Compared with the existing technology, BTR's technology makes spherical graphene smaller, having higher density, conducting electric better, and easier to be carried. The product can be used as a carbon microsphere and applied to the carrier of catalyst, lithium battery, super capacitor, etc. Meanwhile, as the technology is very safe, the product can be manufactured continuously and the production can be controlled and adjusted, making it possible for mass production.
It is Baoan Group's controlled subsidiary BTR that takes the major responsibility of researching and developing graphene.
