Rhodia Is Showcasing and Debuting Emana Denim

Rhodia is showcasing and debuting Emana Denim, the first jeans produced with a bioactive-mineral-based polyamide yarn, which helps and protects skin and body at the ongoing Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, which runs from October 20 to 23, 2014.

“Already a hit in New York and Brazil, Emana Denim is made of bioactive-mineral-based polyamide yarn, an ally in skin and body care and helps reduce the cellulite appearance,” Rhodia says.

Emana absorbs the human body and returns it as far-infrared rays back to the body and in turn these rays interact with the body, thereby promoting skin benefits.

Rhodia informs that Emana is a scientifically-proven technology, through international recognized protocols, conducted by Kosmoscience, an independent institute.

More than 90 women, who tested the benefits of this fiber, reported increased skin firmness and skin elasticity and also helped reduce body cellulite.

“In addition to benefits of Emana Denim for the skin, the yarn adds exclusive and unprecedented softness to jeans as well as lightness and a sophisticated look,” the company explains.

For five years, Rhodia has invested in research to develop Emana Denim. It says the benefits of garments made with the Rhodia technology are permanent, regardless of shape and the amount of washes garments go through.

"We have already introduced it this year in Latin America, Europe, and now we are launching it in the biggest fabrics show,” Renato Boaventura, Director of the global business unit - Fibras at Solvay Group informs.

“With an investment that exceeds seven million dollars and professionals from different departments working on the research and development of this innovation, Emana Denim is a breakthrough in textile industry,” Rhodia says. (AR)
