Bosch Introduces New Packaging Machines for Pharmaceutical Industry

Bosch Packaging Technology has introduced two new machines in order to provide better packaging services for the pharmaceutical industry.

The company launched new Sigpack VPF vertical flat pouch machine and Sigpack HML horizontal flow wrapping machine.

Sigpack VPF vertical flat pouch machine has been developed for the packaging of powders. It will produce sachets that can be used to pack pain killers in powder form.

The machine, which produces hermetically sealed packages, enables manufacturers to flexibly expand their sachet production by up to twelve lanes. It can produce and fill up to 1 500 sachets per minute.

Bosch Packaging Technology’s Beringen site general manager Christian Walti said: “Our new machines ideally complement the portfolio of Bosch Packaging Technology.

“We offer our customers from the pharmaceutical industry reliable and efficient solutions from a single source that can cover the entire production and packaging process.”

Sigpack HMUL or HML can be loaded independently or integrated seamlessly into a complete line.

It is available either with ultrasonic or heat sealing technology.

Bosch Packaging Technology product management head Daniel Bossel said: “The new flow wrapping machine achieves an output of between 200 and 350 products per minute and is suited for the hermetic packaging of various pharmaceutical products such as vial cards or inhalers.”

Bosch also produces Sigpack TTMP topload cartoner, which can be used in the packaging process of pharmaceutical products. Its CIP/SIP cleaning systems and sterilization equipment can also be integrated into the production process.
