According to data published on the website of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China’s automobile market sustained steady growth in 2012. Automobile production and sales amount in one month reached over 1,200,000. The annual production and sales amount broke 19,000,000, setting the new record.
According to CAAM’s statistics, China produced 19,270,000.18 autos last year, increasing by 4.6% year-on-year and sold 19,300,000.64, increasing by 4.3%. The increasing rates of production and sale annual growth are 3.8% and 1.8%.
In 2012, five auto makers’ production and sale scale reached over 1,000,000.
