AGC Glass Europe Won an Award in The Logistics Category at The "2013 Supplier Trophies"

On Wednesday 19 June AGC Glass Europe won an award in the Logistics category at the "2013 Supplier Trophies" organised by PSA Peugeot Citroën at Poissy in the Parisian region of France.     

This award recognises the quality of service as measured by compliance with deadlines and amount of series components delivered to the Group's plants.

In total 23 suppliers were presented with awards in front of an audience made up of representatives of 120 companies, suppliers of PSA Peugeot Citroën, in the presence of Philippe Varin, chairman of the Managing Board of PSA Peugeot Citroën, Yannick Bézard, Purchasing Director, and members of the carmaker's General Board of Directors.

In presenting the trophy to Cédric de Kerchove, Global Account Manager AGC Glass Europe for the PSA Group, Yannick Bézard praised the quality of service offered by AGC. "With a supply service rate of 97% in 2012 and 99% so far in 2013, AGC is The benchmark in its category," he commented.

In this speech of thanks Cédric de Kerchove emphasised the important contribution towards winning this award made by the "I meet my customer" programme, aimed at bringing AGC closer to its customers. 

AGC Glass Europe
