Japan Exported CR Steel Sheets and Coils in November,Decreasing by 3.9% From a Month Ago

Japan exported 233,619 tons of cold rolled (CR) steel sheets and coils in November, decreasing by 3.9% from a month ago and falling by 14.4% year on year, according to data released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance. In the first 11 months of this year, the country’s exports of CR steel sheets and coils amounted to 2.9 million tons, declining by 16.5% year on year. In the given period of time, China was the largest importer of the Japanese CR steel sheets and coils with 963,325 tons, decreasing by 17.7%; Indonesia was the second largest one with 367,019 tons, down by 4.7% and Thailand was the third largest one with 360,047 tons, dropping by 12.9%, all compared to the figures in the same period of the previous year.
