Germany-based medical technology solutions supplier Carl Zeiss Meditec has introduced a new Forum Viewer App in US.
The App, which is released for iPads, will allow doctors to access images and reports from the broad range of Zeiss and third-party diagnostic devices can be stored in FORUM.
The solution is expected to improve the diagnostic workflow and display image data and patient information without any loss in quality.
Carl Zeiss Meditec president and CEO Ludwin Monz said that the access to clinical data away from a desktop computer or a diagnostic device is now crucial in improving efficiency and advancing the quality of care.
"The FORUM Viewer App now brings diagnostic data to a clinician's fingertips -- whether in the exam lane, on the way to their next patient, during a patient consultation, or remotely outside the office," Monz added.
