Hub Folding Box has chosen the EFI Packaging Suite from Electronics For Imaging (EFI), US, as its next-generation workflow solution.
The EFI Packaging Suite features Radius ERP software as its core ERP technology.
Hub Folding Box has decided to upgrade its workflow, replacing a homegrown solution that has been in use for two decades.
The EFI Packaging Suite provides end-to-end certified workflows that increase automation and production efficiencies.
The suite comprises a range of certified workflows with integrated components from EFI’s portfolio. It also includes third-party technologies such as Automation Engine of Esko.
Hub Folding Box has already been using EFI Fiery software for color management in its digital inkjet proofing system.
The full EFI Packaging Suite is expected to be installed at Hub Folding Box later this year.
The suite will offer Hub Folding Box an advanced workflow, including a new shop-floor data collection offerings and business intelligence tools, which will facilitate the company make informed decisions.
The new workflow also incorporates the award-winning mobile customer relationship management tools, which will help the company identify new opportunities and improve customer service.
In addition, integrated shipping and web portal components will streamline ordering and delivery.
Hub Folding Box president and CEO Anthony DiRico said: “The EFI Packaging Suite will help us reduce touches throughout the operation, including the ability to acquire data directly from the shop floor.
