Holfeld Plastics has developed an auto de-nestable range of punnets across its standard crate fit G81 portfolio, for the soft fruit packaging industry.
The 'one size fits all' G81 auto de-nest punnet range, from the Irish rigid packaging supplier, offers various advantages to the industry packhouse.
The benefits include automation in packhouse for optimal filling of crates with empty punnets; clear efficiencies in the packhouse through improved usage of space and product flow.
According to the company, a standard de-nest gap is available across the full punnets range from 40mm to 85mm depths, and changeovers are speeded up as a result, with no adjustment to the de-nesters line.
The auto de-nest gives rise to a sealing jig and an assured finished product.
