Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in New England, US, has signed an agreement to upgrade and extend their use of Streamline Health's enterprise content management solutions for five more years.
Saint Francis has extended their licenses for Streamline's enterprise content management solutions AccessAnyWare and FolderView, which will be integrated with their Epic EMR.
The integration will provide Saint Francis with access to a more complete patient record, including both structured and unstructured data.
Saint Francis enterprise information systems director Steve Tenner said that their continued partnership will provide the hospital with critical guidance during the integration process with the new Epic EMR.
"Additionally, the enterprise functionality that Streamline Health's AccessAnyWare provides will assist our efforts to become a paperless organization, not only when it comes to medical documentation, but in additional areas such as human resources," Tenner added.
Streamline Health president and CEO Robert E. Watson said that the new agreement will open up new opportunities for the organization to leverage technology to improve patient care and become more efficient in other non-clinical functions.
"The Streamline Health solutions will give the clinicians at Saint Francis better and more immediate access to complete medical records, resulting in time savings and improved regulatory compliance," Watson added.
