Contract packaging and distribution company Oakland International has joined the British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association (BCMPA).
Business growth in the sector is providing a primary focus for Oakland's 2013 sales strategy, with contract packing requirements both seasonal and all year.
According to the company, its diverse contract packing operation across ambient, chilled, frozen food and non food lines continues to experience positive growth.
The operation also includes frozen to tempering solutions, date coding and re-sleeving in temperature controlled conditions, which are overseen in-house by its BRC accredited quality assurance division.
BCMPA CEO Rodney Steel said, "Contract packing is set to grow dramatically in 2013 and fits neatly as an integral part of the wider logistics offering provided by Oakland International."
