US insurer Frontline Homeowners Insurance is continuing coastline expansion with the receipt of a license to provide coastal coverage to homeowners in Delaware, US.
The company will start the process of determining insurance coverage specifications and timing for program release, with expectations for availability in late 2013.
Frontline Homeowners Insurance president Leman Porter said Delaware has demonstrated continued growth in its beach communities, making this area a natural fit for the company's business.
"With over 54% of America's population living within 50 miles of a coast, and more moving closer every day, we're optimistic about continued geographic expansion for Frontline Homeowners Insurance," Porter added.
The company has recently introduced a new insurance program to offer comprehensive, high quality homeowners, wind and flood coverage for coastal properties to customers in Alabama, US.
Headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida, Frontline Homeowners Insurance is a group of independent insurance companies offering home, property and liability coverage to homeowners throughout the Southeast US.
The company also provides a wealth of tips for homeowners to reduce the potential of claims on topics ranging from home safety precautions to avoiding water damage.
