Global packaging company Rexam has collaborated with Finnish brewery Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas to create a new can design for the company’s soft lemonade drink Duudesons Jekkulimonadi ‘gag lemonade’.
According to Rexam, the 33cl cans are produced in its Malm plant in Sweden at present, with plans to shift the production to its new plant in Finland opened in January 2013.
Rexam Beverage Can sales manager for the Nordic region Christian Nilsson said the company was briefed to make sure that the can will have on-shelf impact, to encourage people to buy it.
"A combination of a unique design and first-class printing techniques gives a great impression and perfectly complements the nature of the Duudeson's brand," Nilsson said.
The brewery plans to release its Duudesons Jekkulimonadi in the new cans throughout Finland from March 2013.
