Latte Pro, a stainless steel milk frothing jug that removes the need for use of a stick thermometer and helps turn out frothed milk of a consistent quality, is set to come to the UK after being awarded the right to be launched globally.
The Latte Pro is set to be launched in the UK soon after its manufacturers gained the right to launch it globally
Product details:
Latte Pro is a milk frothing jug with in-built LCD thermometer. Made out of stainless steel it comes in three sizes 600ml, 1,000 ml and 1,500ml and is dishwasher safe. Its Australian owner IDA Global has now released global marketing licenses for the product, allowing it to come to the UK.
USP:
The Latte Pro was developed to solve a long-standing series of problems related to the accurate heating of liquid for beverages. Its creators wanted to come up with an easy way for those making coffee to achieve consistently good results when it came to frothing milk and came up with the jug. It is also thought to avoid cross-contamination of milk types that can happen with staff reinserting stick thermometers into milk without cleaning them first.

Availability:
IDA has developed manufacturing agreements with two operationally ready factories and marketing licences are being allocated to companies in worldwide regions, so the product is expected to be available soon once distributors are in place. Prospective distributors and licensees are encouraged to contact IDA at [email protected] .
Why you should buy it:
In Australia where the Latte Pro exists already, baristas and other hospitality staff say the jug has 'simplified and improved' the milk frothing process while also reducing the amount of time it takes for staff to get milk to the right temperature for coffee. IDA Director Andrew Towns said: "Our goal is that Latte Pro will replace the mainstream use of milk frothing jugs and stick thermometers, as we believe that every outlet serving espresso coffee will benefit from taking a more consistent approach in frothing milk and achieving the correct temperature each and every time.”
