Scientists will this year begin rolling out a new-generation network of digital cameras in desert regions of Australia to capture images of incoming meteorites.
The team, led by Western Australia's Curtin University, will test a prototype digital camera on the Nullarbor Plain in the coming weeks. The final network of cameras will help create a geological map of the solar system.
