Dubai-based King of Customs Garage has defied motoring convention by completely relocating the driving position of a Nissan Patrol to the rear seats.
That's right – there are absolutely no driver controls in the front row.
Instead, the Patrol's new steering position is centre-mounted in the second row in a design that seems to inspire headaches for anyone actually serious about driving.
Safety and practicality issues are immediately obvious, with visibility limited by front-seat passengers and a totally space-wasting single rear seat featuring in a large SUV.
The driver also looks particularly vulnerable to being thrown through the windscreen in the event of an accident.
Is this just about the most senseless automotive conversion that has ever been undertaken?
