Economic Times reported that Steel Authority of India Limited’s ISP Burnpur commenced hot production from the sinter plant with the first batch of iron nuggets being produced on Monday.
Mr N Kothari CEO o SAIL ISP said “Our efforts have begun to yield fruits. It is a matter of great pride for all of us to be able to achieve this. This would never have been possible without the continuous effort of each one of us.”
The 3.8 million tonne per annum capacity sinter plant is one of the key packages of the 2.5 million tonne per annum expansion project of ISP.
